How it works

Scope turns a project into a quote you can send: package, how much of the work you own, and who the client is.

The one-time fee

One-time fee = base rate × scope × client. Hosting and maintenance sit separately so they do not inflate the initial build price.

Where ×1.5 comes from

The coefficients are a simple model, not a strict market survey. Listed web prices are a typical sold package: design + development for a small client (×1.0). Design only is 0.6 of that package, development only 0.7. Buying both as one job costs less than 0.6 + 0.7 as two jobs. Client reflects the project’s scale and complexity: small 1.0, medium 1.5, corporate (enterprise) 2.5. Agencies sell fixed packages, not formulas — treat these coefficients as a starting point. The base rates are market-aligned, but Edit base rates is where you enter your own tariffs.

Markets

Eastern Europe and Bulgaria share the same base rates. The Western Europe market is about 2× more expensive on average (landing page €500, company site €1,000). Use Edit base rates to adapt the numbers to your target market.

Design-only work

If you are preparing UI/UX design in Figma only for a website, hosting and maintenance options hide automatically. Branding packages (logo, identity, brand book) have no design/code split — they are assumed to be a full design service, so the base rate is not reduced.

Hosting

Hosting appears only when the market is Bulgaria, using example SuperHosting.bg prices rather than real-time data. For international markets this section is hidden, because platforms vary widely. Monthly maintenance still stays available whenever the project includes handing over code.

Whose prices?

Every default in the app is a starting guide, not a fixed market rule. Use Edit base rates to tune the calculator to your own experience and business goals.

The calculator is English-first for a wider launch; Bulgarian is a first-class locale, not a locked market.
